OUR TEAM

Gregory Hoffman

Founder

After a successful career in retail automotive, Greg formed Resources Management Group, a dealer profit development, training and consulting business. Greg was part of the founding team of the Portfolio reinsurance platform and became Senior Managing Director in 2007. He holds a BA in Economics and Finance from Providence College. He is among the nation’s foremost experts in structuring reinsurance companies, risk analysis and building out enterprise platforms for large dealer groups. Greg is a frequent speaker and contributor to automotive CPA organizations, AICPA and assists automotive law firms in valuations, disputes and alternative structures.

Alan Pouyat

President

Alan joined the RMG team in 2010 after a 22-year career in retail automotive. During his dealership tenure Alan’s roles included F&I Director, General Manager, and Operations Manager of a large dealer group. His greatest asset is his ability to utilize his retail experience and knowledge of reinsurance to design custom programs for dealers that drive profitability, customer retention and exceed expectations. Alan was appointed President of Resources Management Group in 2022 by Portfolio’s Board of Directors. He holds a BS in Marketing from Central Connecticut State University.

Alan Pouyat

Managing Director (Portfolio Reinsurance)

Prior to joining the RMG team in 2008, Jim spent more than 20 years in the automotive industry working as Director of F&I for a large public group and then as a dealership principal. Jim’s commitment to his dealer clients is to utilize his knowledge and experience as a dealer operator to bring every available, sensible and profitable benefit with the goal of maximizing their personal wealth. He believes in serving his dealers best interests with integrity, building trust and simplifying the sales process. Jim holds a BS in Business Management from Charter Oak State College.

Eric Shea

Senior Reinsurance Specialist

Eric got his start in the automotive business in 1998, selling cars. He quickly rose the ranks from sales, to F&I, to the Executive Management level, working with large dealer groups in the South East. Eric specializes in helping F&I Managers increase their performance through process and training.

John Goding

Senior Reinsurance Specialist

John Goding has been with RMG since 1998, having first worked in retail automotive for over 12 years as F&I Director and General Sales Manager. John continually applies his knowledge and passion for selling in the F&I office. He brings that enthusiasm and experience to the table when working with dealers and Business Managers. John takes great pride in his ability to help dealers increase their F&I profitability and his role as a trusted advisor to his clients.

Sean Cummins

Reinsurance Specialist

After an 8-year career in Sales, F&I & Sales Management, Sean joined the RMG team in 2015. Having grown up in the car business as a dealer’s son, he knows what it takes to move the numbers in a dealership. Sean takes the most pride in his ability to positively impact his clients’ performance in the finance department. As a reinsurance specialist, Sean oversees every aspect of his clients’ reinsurance companies to maximize profitability and minimize risk. RMGReinsurance Specialists meet with their dealers on a quarterly basis for a complete financial review of their reinsurance companies. Sean holds a BS in Business Administration from Quinnipiac University.

Terry Fearby

Reinsurance Specialist

Terry joined the RMG team in 2017 after a long career in retail automotive that included F&I Director of the largest dealer group in the state of New York. Terry’s ability to motivate & produce market-leading results is just one of his strengths. His retail experience, hands on approach, and knowledge of reinsurance, rounds out a successful 27-year career in the Automotive Industry.

Jim O'Connell

Chief Financial Officer

Jim has been CFO at RMG since 2008 and has several key roles relating to oversight of reinsurance company formation, accounting and compliance. Jim heads up the Global Administration platform. He holds a BS in Accounting and an MBA from Bryant University.

Ryan Cassidy

Director of Marketing & Business Development

Prior to joining RMG, Ryan spent 5 years in retail automotive, running the centralized Business Development Center for a large dealer group in the Northeast. Recruited in 2015 to head up RMG’s BDC, Ryan has played an integral role in supporting the growth of RMG & affiliated agencies across the east coast. He holds a BS in Political Science from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.

Jeff Lindo

Senior Account Executive

With over 15 years of automotive, finance, and Reinsurance experience, Jeff is 3rd generation in the Automotive sales and finance industry. He graduated from Bellarmine University with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. Since joining Resources Management Group in 2007, he has been focused on creating wealth for his dealer clients through RMG’s F&I Development and Reinsurance platforms. Compliance certifications include AFIP and ARMD. F&I Training certifications include Team One and Ron Reheard and Associates. When not working he enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 children. Hobbies include golf, skiing, and weight training. Other accomplishments outside of work include competing in the 2022 USGA Mid-Amateur Golf Championship, 2017 WNBF World Natural Bodybuilding Championship, and various other State and local golf tournaments.

Dominick Carrero

Account Executive

Dominick joined the RMG team as an Account Executive in 2018. He has always had a passion for cars and started working in the automotive industry in 2005. Dominick worked as an F&I manager for 10 years before advancing to Sales Manager and then General Sales Manager for one of the largest Chevrolet dealerships in the Northeast. Growing up in the South Bronx with his parents and three brothers, he learned valuable lessons about hard work and the drive to achieve personal success. His favorite part of the car industry is training and developing new staff while watching them grow into successful professionals.

Tom Colonna

Account Executive

Tom joined RMG in 2020 after spending 20 years in the Automotive industry. His retail career includes Sales, Finance, Sales Manager & F&I Director, working with one of the largest Automotive Groups in the Country. Tom’s best quality is his ability to connect with everyone in the dealership maximizing profitability. Tom brings enthusiasm, knowledge, and a true passion to every dealer client, driving consistent results month in month out.

David Gelinas

Account Executive

Prior to Joining the RMG team in 2015, David spent 18 years in retail. He started his career in the service department, but after a brief time he moved to the sales department. He was promoted quickly to Sales Manager and then to General Sales manager. After years of running showrooms, he decided to transition to finance, taking over as Finance director. In this new role he increased gross profit and overall product penetration immediately. David prides himself in his ability to deliver these positive results to his dealer clients while maintaining integrity and compliance in the store.

Manny Gonzalez

Account Executive

After an 18-year career in the automotive industry with experience as a General Sales Manager and F&I Director, Manny joined the RMG team in 2022. Committed to strong results through a goal-driven sales dynamic, Manny has embraced a passion for team educational development. His energy from his experience has allowed him to take a motivational training approach to assist F&I Managers in developing their process and increase their profitability. Manny holds a BS in Marketing and an MBA from Post University.

Jamie Holder

Account Executive

Prior to joining the RMG team in 2020, Jamie worked in the automotive industry for more than 20 years. Jamie’s commitment to his dealer clients is to utilize his knowledge and experience in the dealership, with the goal of maximizing their personal wealth. He believes in serving his dealers’ best interests with integrity, building trust, and simplifying the sales process. Jamie is avid Jiu Jitsu competitor having won multiple Presidents Club champions.

Seamus Kelly

Account Executive

Seamus transitioned to a career in retail automotive in 1993 after serving as a Marine. Originally interviewing for a job as a parts driver at his local Toyota dealership, the store’s General Manager suggested that he try his luck on the sales floor. He quickly realized he had a knack for sales and customer service, which would serve him well during his 20 years in retail automotive. Seamus left his General Manager position in 2014 for a job with another F&I Provider, before coming to work with RMG in 2017.

Ted Mader

Account Executive

Ted’s lifelong love of cars drove him to study Engineering and Automotive Design in college. After graduating in 1983, Ted was hired straight out of school as an F&I Manager. At this stage in his career, he spent much of his free time studying and learning the business any way he could. Ted worked his way up to General Manager for the largest Mitsubishi dealership in the country before becoming an equity partner in a 2-franchise dealership where he spent 23 years. In 2017 he moved to Florida and was recruited to join the RMG team as an Account Executive. Ted’s passion for the automotive business and years of experience have made him a valuable asset for his dealer clients.

John Tucker

Account Executive

John started in the car business directly out of college at North Carolina State University. At the time, John loved Chevrolet Trucks, so after graduation he walked into his local Chevrolet dealership and asked for a job selling cars. 10 years later he had worked his way up to F&I Director before being snatched up by another F&I Provider. John joined the RMG team in 2017 as an Account Executive. John specializes in dealership analysis, employee development, and income development while always providing unmatched customer service.
